Hi Everyone,

I always stop by this board when I'm working or at home and always enjoyed reading the posts. I recently sold my beloved 87 930 to get an 86 RUF BTR2. I know we all are voyeurs when it comes up to 930s, and I'll post some photos soon.

Good move. Tell me something, I've been anting to know whats the difference between the Ruf BTR1 and BTR2?? Does anyone know the difference?

I think the BTR1 is a narrow body. Not sure thou. I'll scan the brochure that has some interesting info plus all the factory specs, optinals and mods done to it. I'll also post the original Bill of Sale form Exclusive Motorcars that sold this car in 1987 for $111,000. I'll try to take the pics of the car tomorrow.

From what I know the BTR2 is based on the 2wd and BTR4 is based on the 4wd. Now both were derived from the 993. Please correct me.

 

I think you are right. On the Bill of Sale is "1986 Ruf 911 turbo".
