Default What's the better track car 930 or C2 turbo?

I know asking on this question on the 930 forum might get some questionable responses, but I ask any way.

Probably a C2 Turbo. More ponies, revamps guts running under the floorboard, more refined. Never driven one but I have a feeling it does everything the 930 does, just does it with more confidence. I think theres a lot of differences between the cars. The 930s were 1970s blueprints, wheres the C2 Turbos were the redesign (and overdue). I dont think youll find as much difference between C2 Turbos, 993TTs and 996TTs, as you will from 930 to a 965. Nevermind the fact that the 964 design fixed many 930 shortcomings inside the car like an A/C that actually deserved the name and just better interior appointments. On the track though I guess that stuff doesnt matter. I prefer the rigid lines on the 930, but I think the C2T is a car that corrected many glaring weaknesses from the 930 and finally made the 911T a car you could drive every day and not hate it.

A C2 Turbo has a much better suspension design, a stiffer chassis, a 5spd, better brakes, and a better intercooler and turbo. It is a much better platform than a 930. It does come at the expense of some extra weight, ABS, and airbags.

Hey Jeffery
I haven't heard back from you about the head porting.
Drop me a line when you get a chance.
