Radar Detector Cover Up?
I recently purchased an '87 turbo-look cabriolet without spoilers. This means the car looks like the speedster with a cabrio top. To boot, the car has only 20,500 miles on it and has a Porsche radar detector. Here is the question: Only the speedster bra will fit and does, but covers the radar antenna housed in the front bumper. Does anyone know how much the vinyl interferes with the signal, if at all?
I have been reading your discussions with much interest for some time and compliment all of you on the understanding and expert advice given. I hope I can make use of your knowledge, even though my motor is only the 231 h.p. type?! Thank you in advance.

Congratulations on your new ride. My previous car was an 1988 Carrera 3.2 Targa and I loved that car. I still miss it today. It sound like you have a great set-up. Post some pics when you can.
I'm not sure about the bra and radar detector, but I doubt it would interfere. I'm sure more knowledgeable opinions will be posted.
Good Luck
