Default Wheel Offset Question

Looking at a set of kinesis wheels and the seller does not know the offset

Anyone know the offset for a 930turbo?

7x9 front
7x11 rear

I am just going through this exercise, and by this weekend I can actually make a real measurement for you...But my best estimate based on my "studies" and input from the folks here on RL: (Maybe someone smarter can confirm):
17X9 front: 30mm offset
17X11 rear: 44mm offset

**And don't forget that you should have a 28mm spacer in the rear and none in the front...of course, I have no clue what year your 930 is...this was the case on the 80's 930....

There is a range of acceptable offsets depending on a few variables (with or without stock spacers for example).

Generally up front a 9x17 wheel around +30 offset is a safe bet.

In the back with a 11x17 wheel around +6 (without rear spacer) through +40 (with spacer) works well. I much prefer the setups without rear spacers.

The pics below are Dave 86 930 FL's car with the following specs:

Forgelines 17 x 9"/11"

Front Offset +31 (used stock spacers)

Rear Offset +06 (no rear spacers)

That's perfect fitment if you ask me!
