Looking to get a 930

Sounds like a good deal. Some of the oil leaks you can probably do yourself if you don't mind getting dirty. You can probably sell the set of bbs lm's on ebay for $1500-$2000 and get yourself a set of aftermarket headers. That'll make the car really come alive. hmmmm. ken

We have photos!! Took these tonight after I got the car home. The photos suck. It was drizzling out so I beat the rain home and gave it shelter so these pics from the garage will have to do for now. If its not raining tomorrow night I'll pull it out for some better photos. The crappy garage lights make the car look pink.

Nice! Those BBS wheels look like Fikse FM-10s. Are those centers anodized or chromed? The lips look chromed...
Personally, I think the look is cool, but is even better for a track car than a street car. I have the FM-10s, and for some reason they look a little Miami Vice-ie on the street to me.
What the heck. Cool car. Now treat it right!

I've been following your thread (I've been contemplating getting a 930 or 993)
Congrats! Very nice looking car, I really like the champagne interior. I'm curious to see the car with the original Fuchs. The BBS wheels are a little flashy for my taste. I may be a purist but I always think the Fuchs look best. Though the 17" RUFs (now discontinued) look pretty darn sharp as well.
Enjoy!

Yo, UDPride,
Take it to a different shop! Be there and done that. I put a post on the 944 board as well.
The center console you are describing is the 930 style IIRC.

Thanks guys.
Im not sure if the BBSs have a polished lip or not. From what I remember the entire rim is the same "feel". Could be camera angle. Yeah, the LMs look a lot like the FM-10s. I think the mesh on the BBS is just a little bigger.
I will get a pic of the center console tonight. Im almost positive its a 930S from what youve said. I looked at it again this morning and the console is very very nice.
Im picking up the original Fuchs next week from the owner. Depending on how well kept they are, and Im assuming same awesome condition of the car, Im thinking of painting them red to match the car. Not that I will put them back on anytime soon, but nonetheless. Repainting them gloss black would be easier to sell though if needed.
If it EVER stops raining here, maybe tonight, I'll get some outside shots in much better light.

Check my signature, I have uploaded photos of the new ride in actual daylight.
Here's a pic of the console I took tonight. Yep. Looks like 930S.
