1979 930 turbo Guards Red w Cork $40k firm
Up for sale is my 1979 930 turbo with 81,000 miles. Guards Red with cork interior. This car is in pristine condition. Needs absolutely nothing. Except for maybe an enthusiastic new owner or collector. :-) No disappointments here.
Asking price is $40,000.00 firm.
Lots of pics at the following web address:

Interior was completely restored in the summer of 2012 by Classic Nine Leather in Dearborn MI at a cost of $9k (I have receipts).
Transmission was rebuilt 18 months ago by Porsche master mechanic, Kern Serrota at Fred Lavery Porsche in Birmingham, MI. New gears, synchros, gaskets, etc.
Top engine refresh done at 70k miles/ October 2007: new gaskets for cam covers, timing chain boxes, rocker arm covers, turbo seals and gaskets, new oil lines, valve adjustment and a bunch more stuff. Cost $8k plus parts
New K27 HFS turbo from Imagine Auto
Euro Headers
Rarly L8 stainless muffler and waste gate dump pipe
New plugs and wires, rebuilt distributor and Bosch CDI ignition.
New left rear transaxle, wheel bearings, rear shocks.
Aftermarket Nakamichi CD400 CD Player, 600W JL Audio HD Amp amp with crossovers, Boston Acoustics Pro separates in front, alpine rear deck speakers (stock mounted) and JL Audio sub box (about $3k in the stereo)
Car Cover
I have all receipts for repairs and upgrades, all the way back to the original owner. I will also include stock heat exchangers, turbo and car stereo in the sale.
Car has never seen snow and rain on rare occasion. I've had this car for 12 years and enjoyed it immensely. Time to move on, that's all. I have 7 cars and I'm done with having 7 cars. :-)
I was much more active in the 928 community here on Rennlist. Ask anyone there about the condition of my 930 if you need an unsolicited testimonial.
Thanks for looking- Brian
Oh, here are a couple pics but the link has em all.

bump... got a few nibbles but no one serious enough to bring loot.
guys, this car is in superb condition. a blast to drive and supremely reliable.
guess i'm open to offers now. i am trying to downsize a little. 4 P cars and three others ('02 M3 convertible, '10 SHO taurus with 425hp and a nicely restored '66 chevelle) with a two car garage. it's like playing tetris with cars in my driveway.
make me an offer I can't refuse... :-)
thanks, brian
