To my knowledge, all '76 Turbo Carreras came with the microphone. This was referred to as a "Dictaphone" so that the executive could record his notes or thoughts for the upcoming day while driving to work. He would then pull out the cassette, take it with him into the office and lay it on his "Secretary's" desk for her to transrcibe !

Very efficient, those Germans !

My three '76 have the "Dictaphone"

'76 Turbo Carrera #0166 Black/tan

idart,

You mentioned "Hirschmann antenna manual with cleaning wipes and a metal tool". Do you have a photo of the cleaning wipes?

Did the Dictaphone come with all Bamberg radios (they all have the record button)? Looks like some came with a more permanently attached control unit near the gear change level.

What tire gauge came with the 76 and 77 930? For 76 I believe it was a MotoMeter (gray) in a brown leather pouch, but what about for 77?

The "Autobahn" brand tire inflator (made in Canada) in my '79 no longer has an operational air nozzle.
Most of the internal rubber has bio-degraded. I'll find another or repair this one and keep it period correct !

Ryan,

It has two cleaning wipe packages but there was not a metal tool as I suspected.

Did these Hirschmann wipe packages change over the years? These came with my '79 930 - 1164.

idart,

Did your 79 930 come with automatic or manual antenna from the factory? Thanks for photo of the orange Hirschmann wipes. I only have ones that are in silver and I think blue (I'll have to check when I get home).

Does anyone have photos of the Hirschmann manual/keys/wipes from a 1976 930?

For your '87 Turbo parts use the 911 USA PET
911_USA_87_89_KATALOG

The Turbo parts are mixed in with 911 numbers.

Differences are highlighted in;
* 3rd from last column (Remark) which will give year
* last column (Model) which will give descriptor or engine type, etc
If either are blank it usually means all.

Don't stop looking. They do show up on places like the Pelican Parts Forums besides eBay. You should be able to fill that hole in you center console if you keep working at it.

Can someone take a closeup of the VDO tire gauge and key pouch. Is the case for the tire gauge blue vinyl? Looking for one of each as well.
