Andreas, yes the book is fine.
Havn't had enough time to read everything,
As said above, my attention is on the production numbers.
Thanks for pointing on the last site, numbers numbers!
I just calculated the difference in overall production numbers from
1980 to 1989. The book states ~500 less 930s produced for each year then other sources.
When you take care one a rare model,
for example the 930 targa, produced only from 87-89, the difference is hughe:
This book/ Other source
930 targa ROW. 87 cars/ 320 cars
930 targa US+ Can 176 cars/ 337 cars
That just from a short calculation, there are some
special cars listed in the book which should be added,
but these are only a few.

the statistics-part was produced by Nobert Franz from www.turbolook.com
I think it took some years to get all the data even from the most rare cars produced by Porsche Exclusive, like 964 turbo convertibles.

Andreas,
I just tried to order from the Berlinmotorbooks site and was not able to complete my order. I've sent a note off to info@berlinmotorbooks.de and hope to hear from them soon. I have a 1979 930 (9309801067) that I (literally) just completed a complete engine rebuild on last weekend. I love my Turbo and am anxious to receive a copy of your book. I, too, would like it signed by you. If there is anything else I need to do, please let me know. I've asked the publisher how to order and pay for the book. Thanks!!

No Joke, No Book, just an empty box, just got back from PO they say it was received with no contents, seems no one wants to take responsibility, for the loss, they tell me sender needs to fill out a lost article form...
