Default DZ 935 K3 Tribute For Sale $45k **Fire Sale** 634hp @ 1 bar built for 1.6 bar

Here it is, its for sale...

So I'm selling the 935 K3 tribute car as I have run out of passion for the project. This is put at a price to simply move the car onto its next owner - I want a short and pain free transaction.

If you want background on the car here is the build thread:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...gruppen-4.html

Full picture diary of the car from the moment I bought it through all versions and work will be included.

If you have any questions email me at reaper@d-zug.us, looking for a serious buyer who has the $ and patience to put just a little bit more into the car and finish her for racing or daily driving. Most the kinks have been worked out and the reward will be a wonderful car that cannot be duplicated for under $180,000

No expense was spared for the car, it has been my living and breathing passion since day one.

Run Down of Specs:

Built on a 930 Tub

Motor:
3.8 liter Andial P&C's approx 6k miles on the motor all at 1 to 1.2 bar

only issue is Clutch slips at high RPM due to load, needs to have Chris at TurboKraft to look at the throwout bearing to fix the issue

Known Issues
  • Rear Camber Boxes need rewelded for correct rear camber (recent development)
  • Remount K3 front end (fenders/bumper as one unit) as during trailer loading there was a mishap which sheered a few mount points. Estimate from Dave Brown at Renngruppe who handles 935 K3's is $650
  • Bushings in throttle pedal
  • Replace front tires
  • Revisit fitment of a few dzus fasteners on passenger quarter panel for better fitment
  • Set rear camber & toe
  • Paint is rough, good for a race car
  • Welded up a crack in rear driver wheel, can be turned on lathe to look perfect

Asking $45,000 FIRM
Over $300k spent on R&D and parts

To all:

Thank you for the kind words and support that have been offered here for many years. Because of this group of guys we have spawned a great company, a great car forum and gruppe for TurboPALOOZAs.

I am still a partner of D-Zug Produkte, still the web guy for Fünf Gruppen - and when in the country will attend various events we put on.

I am not totally out of the game, just taking a step back. Each of us should strive to walk the earth as a ghost at some points in our lives if only to see in stark contrast what is required of us regardless of influence.

I need breathing time in my life to put things back in the perspective they belong in, as well as refocusing and rekindling the passion for the breed, the fire which although currently dim will never be extinguished.

But know this, when I return, mark my words; it will be in a cloud of tire smoke propelled by a form that will envelope the world in a very specific breed of darkness. Satan himself will give up the left lane, children will scream in terror, grown men will drop to their knees as in the end of days and women will swoon throwing themselves as ****** at the feet of the beast.

Stay tuned my friends, for the best is yet to come.

WOW Guns, that car "was/is/forever will be" an inspiration for many of us!
I lived vicariously through that build, and I'm sure I'm not the only one!
Best of luck in your future endeavours.
I envy whoever got this!
