evaporator is not huge - it is in the whale tail and is half the size of non trubos as the intercooler takes up most of the space...
this car looks a mess - are you sure its a turbo? - dont see a boost guage and the exhaust looks suspicious
Huh? You've never seen the under car unit?

There's such a thing as a under body condensor for earlier (pre'90) 911's it'sthe width of the chassis and is said to drop cooling temps considerably.
This vehicle doesn't look alarming in any way for the money not sure where auction ended, many cali
cars were modified with later bumpers and trim to emulate the latest body style in the early nineties.
Simple enough switch bumpers and rockers add mirrors, there ya go! And it's certainly a ROW 930
probaably goes like stink! Bert

The auction ended with the reserve not met, around 16k. I have tried talking with the guy, he was listing it for his boss and he works on all his "sports" cars, then he also says he is his boat captain. And he also claims to have a 930 turbo of his own.... The guy is kinda weird...
Still debating on if i should go take a look...

It sold for 22k in 2003 at Barretts auctions... The condition is more a factor than the price to me, the ending bid is reflective of what people are willing to spend "without" looking at the car before buying....

Then again, maybe the guy who bid 16k did a comprehensive PPI before the final bid, this is all it might be worth to him, who knows?
