My opinion - take off the RUF badging. It is not a RUF and will not be one - true RUFs have their own VIN. To me its like putting Turbo badging on a wide body with a non-turbo motor.

My car is heavily modified and I wouldn't even think about RUF badging. Down the road - potential buyer will think - well if this isn't a RUF what else is on the car that doesn't hold true?

IMHO - but to each their own, but not for me

Keep in mind that RUF initially was a tuner. His car may not be a RUF vin but it is RUF enhanced. The badging is a matter of choice. He did state in his post that he was going to do the RUF engine conversion as well if that matters. I have RUF wheels, RUF intercooler,RUF front spoiler with oil cooler, RUF boost controller, RUF group b cams and RUF injectors on my 930 and if I added RUF badging it's my business, if one were to ask I would state that I have a 930 enhanced with RUF bits that's all. How many replica 73 rs or rsr are out there?

What sizes are the wheels and what size tires are you running? BTW, I do like the chrome look.

The new tires (100 miles) are new Michelin pilots sports

How bout this novel idea: let him do whatever he wants with his F-ING car!

It looks awesome to me, bro.

Have the coil-over suspension installed with rsr sway bars
400 lbs front
600 lbs rear
22lbs/22lbs

And it lowered 1 inch with corner balance and everything

Pretty car!

speednme 01-12-2012 12:31 AM

the height looks perfect...coming along nicely..what are you doing with the rear bumper? are you going to cover the holes where the bumper guards were? imo euro bumper guards are much more appealing than the USA ones but not sure if one can use the existing bumper...

I might fill in the bumper holes at a later date I like the clean no bumper guards look.
I'm going too install Vitaloni's mirrors next so I don't have too fill in the holes in the door
