She's puurrdy! Enjoy.
Idle looks to be just over 1k...no big thing. Mine idles around there too. Oil pressure looks normal, 1 bar per 1k rpm is expected.
Looks like in the photo the oil temp gauge is reading pretty high...where in Cali and what we ambient temps like?

Very observant, but why are you asking this question of someone who just got his first 930? I doubt seriously he can answer with any authority on the subject just yet.
High idle is not normal on any car...be it a Porsche 903, 993, VW bug, or whatever you drive. For stock 930's with CIS fueling, 9 times out of 10 it would be a malfunctioning AAR. But hey, for all we know the pictures posted were of a car not fully warmed up.
And oil pressure should be something like 10 psi for every 1000 rpms, very generally speaking. Hope this helps....

Car does seem to be fully warmed up, but I could always be wrong.
Just want to make sure the OP isn't damaging his new car as that would be a real shame.
thanks for the cis knowledge!

Mark, was posing the question to the group since I'm not familiar with the 930. My 993TT idles at like 650, so I was a bit surprised.

Idle should be in the neighborhood of 900 or so (I think spec is 950 for my '87). Gotta keep that turbo oil scavenging pump turning enough to pull the oil out of the drip tank. I don't know squat about the 993's, so perhaps 650 is the correct idle for yours.
Guess I should look closer at flynduc's picts...you're right, the temp looks "up to temp" and looks like he's idling at around maybe 1100. A bit high, but rather that than too low.

That's cool, just had me wondering.

Congrats on that car. I thought about the same. The years I really like are the 1986 in the Red, and the 1994 in the Pearl.
I had thought about selling the water-burner 1986 944 Turbo and heading off in that direction.
