No need to call PCA....they have NO documentation on the factory slantnoses before Model Year 1987. The Sunderwunsch Programme kept terrible records back then for their Special Wishes Vehicles.
If the the car in question is an '87-'89 930 Factory Slant, it will be stated on the white option sticker under the front bonnet. It has to be marked with an M505 or M506 under the "Option" section of the label.

You will have to find someone is deeply familiar with these cars. There are ways to verify its authenticity as a factory car, but it is not easy.

1988 , metallic white . Car was on internet for sale in NOV 09 for 24 k with no reserve.

found out the following , Interior is ratty , car needs paint job , nose is after market , front light assembly is after market , no records for Mods or nose even though he claimed they were dealer installed . Alot of shorts with this car makes me think it might of been flooded out . guy told me they had to change seat belt hex bolts due to rust , thats a lil wierd ???? i had cars sit for over 5 years in a garage and never encountered this . And to boot he was adament about NOT letting me get a PPI inspection from a local Porsche dealership .

The driver seat leather is worn and now way 21k on the clock would cause that . Not unless u wear barbed wire belts to hold your pants up .

Guy said 40 K and IMO opinion of course he has a better shot of seeing Jesus then getting 40k on a flip in 4 months .

Car is worth 20 K . And im not looking for a project car so PEACE OUT !!1

Well from what i learned these past few weeks the biggest proof of a factory slant is the stick under hood with the 505 code as well as the light motor under the trunk clamp . Tapering upwards washboard vents on fenders are also OEM originals .

That's all well and good, if the car in question is a Model Year 1987-1989, but I was talking about the '82-'86 Sunderwunsch Programme Slantnoses. These cars were built up the Werke I Facility at Zuffenhausen. There was no M505 or M506 option before 1987 so looking under the front bonnet will do you no good.

"Tapering upwards washboard vents on fenders are also OEM originals." What the heck is that?

Sorry I'm just getting back to the board.. sounds like a car I've seen over on the VA side of the area, I want to say Vienna or Great falls area. If it's the car I'm thinking of, yes.. pretty ratty indeed. Especially to be so late model.
