Default Big Reds

Hello all...

Has anyone fitted 993tt rear calipers to their 930? The fronts it seams are easy, but the rears are proving to be a pain in the ****. Is there a simple solution, a kit or something? Help would be appreciated, cheers

This is what we did in 2001 with a customer's 930:

1. Machine lugs off caliper, drill & tap mounting holes.
2. Make bracket with revised hole centres & offset
3. Fit bracket to caliper.
4. Fit assembly to car.

From memory I think you also have to clearance a small section of the inside of the caliper to clear the smaller diameter 930 disc.

If you want to use this method give me a call, I have drawings for the caliper mod and have got one spare caliper bracket that you can use to copy. I should have a pair of brackets knocking around but can't find the other one and it's unlikely that we will need another since I've had this one on the shelf for over 7 years.
