New paint..lets see the color
OK guys, all my mechanicals are done...built an EFI monster that now needs a new zippy paint and I'm not too crazy about the stock color...anyone out there gone a little different with the colors?

My own personal taste, but I would save my paint money and spend it elsewhere. Lose the wheels and go for a 17" or 18" variety. Those 19's or 20's make the rotors look like those Porsche Brake key fobs you see advertised........"it's a small world after all".
I think the original color looks great on that 965.

I agree with werk 1 those wheels look like your trying to "pimp" the car...and it makes the brakes look like a hyundai with 18's on it. Looks stupid. As far as color....I would do signal green or orange

Love the color is great! would look better with a light interior. like linnen or a tan. But thats just me I really donet like black interiors especially living here in miami. Wheels look good to me maybe 17's would make the brakes look like they fit better. Actually the next 911 i get to replace the one the ex now owns will most likely be blue.

Car looks great, a 930 with 19" wheels doesn't quite fit. I agree it looks like the brakes are toys. Can the suspension handle those wheels? I know on the 944 if you went with anything larger than 16" you needed to change some of the mounts for the control arms...

Yep...gotta loose the clown shoes!
Don't get me wrong I like newer rims & can't stand ugly hot wheels fuchs, they just need to be size appropriate.
But what do I know...I have staggerd wheel sizes on mine..so go figure!

As the Wheel Doctor...I approve the wheels and color. Please leave the car alone, or your 930 ownership rights will be immediately revoked.

Hmmm... the existing color looks good to me but I can't really see the detail of the finish. However, my particular favorite Porsche colors are Ice Blue Metallic or Petrol Blue Metallic. Tho' if it were mine I'd lose those wheels. They look like conestoga wagon wheels on a car ...just my .02.
