Quick gearbox question
I know the 89 came with the G50/50 and the later 964T's came with the G50/52. I've seen a gearbox that has G50052 stamped on it, can someone confirm that it is a G50/52, cheers.

I pulled this info from a post on a kit car forum so not sure if it is accurate, but you can see my concern, does the stamped G50052 mean G50/05 or G50/52, any help would be great

I see your concern. Looks like it could be G50/05.
I know the transmission in the picture below is a G64/51, and if we rely only on the consistency of how these transmissions are stamped, the box in your picture might not be what you want.

Thanks Olli, that is exactly what i was looking for. Funny that the one in your shot has a larger "2" stamped at the end too. It would seam obvious that this is a G50/05 then, shame really as i though i would grab a bargain! Thanks again
