Default Saved The 930...

Well, the title says it all. The 930 is safely tucked away in my mother's garage in Northern Louisiana...but my Vette, 928S4, car trailer, and the fiancee's Mustang are still in New Orleans along with everything else I own...didn't have time to evacuate everything before traffic turned to hell...

Wish me luck guys. I managed to evacuate my mother & fiancee' with me to FL. I may be living out of my F350 & 930 by the end of the week!!!! THANKS GUSTAV!!!!

If there are any other members on here from NO or south LA, keep your chin up.

Well, I'm in south Mississippi and we are fortunate you guys are going to see a taste of what we did during Katrina. New Orleans did not get the brunt of the Katrina storm, but they did get all of the sorrows and sympathy of the news media. I do not wish harm or devistation to you in Orleans, but Mississippi was devistated and there was no media there to help us only the leavy flooding in the ninth ward, which could have been avoided if the city was not so corrupt. If the city would have built a real leavy system when it received the multi millions and it didn't fill the pockets of the corrupt govt system. I am not bitter, I do pray your city fairs well, it will be a true disaster this time for you and your friends in south LA. This time the federal govt., FEMA, LEMA and city officials will not screw up with protection and assistance. God Bless you and your families that may be affective with the storm.

It looks like New Orleans was spaired the brunt of the storm. I have a friend in Grand Isle, it looks like they are getting crushed. It appears everyone was prepaired due to Katrina.

Saw the news earlier, an english reporter in Canal Street. At one point it looked pretty rough. Good luck to all of you.

No, not yet bro. They are not going to start letting people back into the city until Thursday...

I am leaving Florida and going to Alexandria, LA tomorrow with my mother to check out her property (that is also where my 930 & her Boxster are stored). After I am sure that my mother has not only made it home safely, but that her house is in decent condition and she has power, I will head back to NO. I will be sure to post up when I make it home...

We got three more storms here on the east coast....blah!

I hate hurricane season. I used to love storms as a child, right up until I bought a house and had a few trees come down in the middle of the night.

I'm here in Savannah, Ga. and we are in the predicted path of Hannah....but we haven't had a direct hit since the 1800's. We'll know by Friday I suppose....
