well thanks!! it took a lot of time and hard work. I did the conversion, the car was a salvage titile. When I started it i didnt know there were only 144 targa turbo's made in 88 or I would have probably kept it stock.

It looks like something the leader of the **** army would be driving around in a war zone. And I don't mean that in a bad way. Pretty cool!

Great find dude!
I've been telling folks for the longest time that there were actually 2 predecessors to the Yellow Bird.. your post pictures the first one. The second is a dark green.. like forest green SC.

I was in complete salivation when I saw your pics posted on Pelican and got weak in the knees. That is beyond uber, just so cool.
Thanks again for sharing. And kudos to you on yours. So freakin cool.
ps. Paul I keep meaning to tell you, you bastid, that blue you have is stunning (some reason it's one of my faves) and I didn't realize yours was a slant. Nice wheels to boot.
Decent color combos yer sporting in yer garage down there, good job!

Paul..
Thanks for the kudos.. its a factory color "Petrol Blue".. original deep pocket owner had slant conversion doen by Alan Johnson Racing, its all fact 930S stuff except the headlight units themselves. Car then got most of a Ruf conversion done to it. The next owner turns around and removes the Ruf IC, and muffler (too load) and sold the wheels for the Kenises Supper cups... I'm not complaining about that too much except he could have done 11" or 12" instead of 10"s... I'm planning to change that though.
Yeah, I like to keep some of the "out of the norm" colors in the stable... my 73 S was silver w/red from the factory.. still is, maybe one day I'll get to put it back together!
