Could you give me your opinions on where you guys have bought aftermarket wheels for your 930's and maybe some pics if possible?

What kind of wheels - track or street? CCW makes a great wheel with custom offsets for a 930. I run an 11.5 rear, 9" front 18" wheel..

The wheels are for street purposes only. The car will never see the track. What are your impressions between 17" and 18" as far as ride quality and rubbing issues?

Mine are 9 x 18 front and 11 x 18 rear and I have had no rubbing issues. My car is an 86 930. The ride is really nice also. I came from stock tires and wheels and this is much nicer. I noticed the ride right away and thought maybe I was just thinking that way but my wife got in and took and ride and made a comment about how much nicer the ride was. I was a little worried about the 18's being rough but they are really nice in my opinion. No experience with 17's.

If you are looking for larger 17" rubber, but like the original look, you can't beat Lindsey Racing Fuchs rims.

Here is a good 930 wheel thread at Pelican http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=343957

Midway through pg.10 I show my car with original Fuchs, Kinesis K18r and my current Lindsey's.

Also, I may have a used set of Lindsey's for sale with tires. I purchased them as a second set for possible track use and I have not had time to even track my car.

Thumbs up

Another option is our lister Stephen from Image Auto. He carries different types but I am partial to the RH wheels. They are the 3 piece supercup style. I have them in 18s on my 85 Euro 930.

CCW's are lighter and about 1/2 the price of Fikse. I had Mach V's on my 964, great wheel but pricey.
