New car for the garage.
My 10 year old son and I drove our "new" car up from Sacramento to Seattle a week ago. The new one is an '85 Euro 930 Slantnose (factory), guards red, with a twin turbo, 800 cfm intercooler, euro cis, twin plug, adjustable boost, and a bunch of other stuff that I'm still considering (a) what it is, and (b) do I keep it on there.
The car has got some sorting out to be done on it, and I need to get it on the dyno to look at A/F, but in general, I'm pretty pleased. I gotta admit I got nervous, jumping in a new car in Sacramento, and pointing it to Seattle and hoping it was together enought to make it there. As usual, I was overthinking the problem - no problems on the drive north.
This one will be staying in the Seattle area, and will be seeing some time on the Pacific Raceways track when I'm "down" in that area.
No, I'm not necessarily a "Flachbau" fanatic - they seem to be finding me these days.

Congratulations on a great find! For a moment I already thought Chuck Jones had sold his to you but then remembered that he had a '87 Cab. Interesting in any case for 2 Guards Red slant noses in the Sacramento area....

Engine shot
Yasin,
My bad! No pics from underneath, right now (can't belive I missed that!). I'll be back in SEA next week, hopefully tracking it at Pacific, so I'll take a couple of shots and post them. Only a compartment shot of the engine, for now.
Cheers all!
