Default Is This Derrick Cooper's \ Diabolos 930 on Ebay

Came across this car this morning, it looks like Derrick's former car, especially the older pics. Diabolos bought this car - no? If you look at the sellers location (Palatine, Illinois) I am thinking thats where Diabolos lives?

Seller says 150mp/h in the 1/4 mile?

Yasin[/QUOTE]

I think it reads "150 mph in under a mile"

This brings up an interesting question. Should a typical or modestly upgraded 930 be able to hit 150 MPH from a dead stop in a 1/2 mile?

Don't know the answer to that question based upon any sort of empirical evidence. But, based upon what Road & Track went through a few years ago when they did their high speed tests, I think it would be unlikely that a fairly stock 930 (or even only moderately tuned one) would hit 150 mph in just 1/2 a mile. Obviously, your question is begging for someone* to test this out.

The ad IS Derick's old ad. When I last spoke to Derick, he said Diabolos was buying the car so I am sure he is selling it. Good luck to him and the new buyer.

hey gang, it is DC's old madcab, I unfortunately don't drive it much since it is really actually too scary for me. Makes you feel as if you are flying out of your seat, hair raising to say the least!

BTW, this is not a modestly tuned 930 engine. Its one of Stephen Kaspars wild creations with massive monster power, anyone in the area is welcome for a test drive

WOW! That didn't last long! Looks like the bidding has ended! A very nice well sorted car, though!

I guess it was that IA engine that sold it!
