Default Ducktail on a 930?

I have seen a couple of cars that have implemented the ducktail approach to get the classic RSR look. However, the 2 that I have seen on here or Pelican fitted the tail with a stock I/C and did a little fabrication to the fiberglass tail. In this Pelican thread, scroll down to Bryan Beaumonts posts http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showt...hreadid=327531 . He has a ducktail fitted with a custom I/C that appears to carry plenty of volume. Would this setup be possible in a 930 after removing the A/C? My car is modded with 1 bar spring and I would not want to revert back to the stock I/C.

The problem there is it looks awesome, but probably doesn't seal to the deck so the fan isn't drawing air through it. I did a duck tail on my 964 w/a 993TT engine installed. The tail had to be totally custom made so that the intercooler sealed against the opening so the fan would draw air through it. Otherwise, the i/c can get heat soaked and no real way to cool the thing down. You can look at my duck tail...its in the air cooled 964 section (not turbo) under post called "hot rod 964"...pics on probably last page or so. Thing is f'n wicked fast...like go to jail do not collect $200, fast.
