Default update for bumpers

I'm considering an update of my bumpers from the original early '89 style with the bellows on the sides, to the later '89/'90 style. Has anybody done this change, or does anyone know of a source for the parts, other than the friendly neighborhood Porsche dealer? Along with a new paint job, I think it would be a welcome change. TIA

It seems all the parts come from Getty Design so you may as well buy them direct.

The PO installed them on my 79. If it was my choice I would have gotten a more aggresive front with a splitter. I would also change the rear wing and mirrors at the same time.

Check out MA Shaw. I've used them for the parts on my car when I did a color change and update. Their parts fit pretty well and required very little shaping and forming. Stay away from better bodies. GT Racing is for racing parts.

this is a getty kit that i installed on my car. I molded in the front . IF you look close i do not have a rubber smile on the front. i will tell you that in my opinion all the kits need work. I also have rocker panels for the sides. I used the beter body rockers. I found them better than the getty rockers. but the fenders and front rear were better by getty. Still many hours fitting them. I also changed the front for my front mount cooler. so it has an opening now.

JBrown, nice looking updates.

What do you mean by "I molded in the front"?

Duke if you no the front up by the hood has a rubber lip that goes around the front from bumper to bumper. i took that out and filled in with fiberglass. It is a 94 front . Look at a 94 and you will see the rubber molding i am talking about. You have it on yours. It is larger though. look at the 94 that posted before me and u will see the rubber smile. It is hard to see on black . but on other colors you can see iti easier. thanks
