As much as I love my 996TT I also love the 930s I have owned. Maybe more. They have soul that took decades to create.

If I had it to do again, I would not do it! It was a silly project...

Though... If I did do it again... I think I would buy a 993TT motor from a wrecker and pop that in instead. Add a chip and you have pretty good bang for the buck. Building custom motors is painful.

The amount of fabrication necessary and the pitfalls of completion are not really any easier in the long run. Fitment is a real problem. BTDT and still do it. It is also very costly.

True. But I went through many of the same fitment and fabricatiuon problems putting the 964 motor in there. Like I said. If I was smart I would never have started...
