Default What will replace a 79 930 fan housing?

I've found a crack in my fan housing. I don't want to weld it since the material is old magnesium. I can't find a new one for a 78-89 turbo or 80-83 SC which is the same part number. Has anyone changed to a 84-89 Carrera housing or have another solution?

Nevermind. Zims found me a new aluminum one. I've found it's pretty much usless to have a budget when building a 930 engine.

I got the one from Zims and it was very poor quality, it looked like someone made it in their garage. This is appearantly not a part that they stock. Zims was gracious enough to take it back with no restocking charge.

I called Vertex. They said theirs is made for them and that it's a good quality part for almost half the price of the OEM part. Since I'm converting to EFI and upgrading the A/C, I decided to upgrade to the 90 amp alternator. Vertex made me a package deal for the upgrade, thanks guys. I'll let ya'll now how it looks when I get it.
