Default Air con?

Hi guys,

As we all know, AC in these cars has always been crap. Any evolutions recently in getting a reliable system? My dad has an original owner 89 and has been asking me. Did some research on here and found some 2005-2006 threads.

Perhaps a standard 911 solution would work too, but maybe not since our engine compartments are even more heat soaked with the intercooler.

Car is in Florida, so it does get exercised. Would be nice to have AC working since my parents are getting up in age.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated

I had a Classic Auto Air full turnkey system installed in my 1987 930 Turbo and it's been great so far. And I live in Texas.
