Default Fabspeed 930T Complete System

Are you looking to help you 911 Turbo 930 reach it’s maximum performance potential? Fabspeed has a variety of options to help get your 930 up to today’s performance standards.

Fabspeed Motorsport’s Porsche 911 Turbo 930 Long-Neck Intercooler is the world’s finest large intercooler for the 930, engineered for optimum flow efficiency, lowering intake temperature and improving air flow for performance gains of +40 WHP and +29 ft/lbs. of TQ. Constructed in the vital OEM style, our Long-Neck Intercooler features a shroud that creates an air tight seal with a rubber gasket to the bottom of OEM decklid.

Developed on our own project street and race vehicles, fitment and function were extremely important to perfect. The increased surface area and internal volume allows for much greater heat dissipation, increasing and sustaining power by minimizing change in air temperature and preventing heat soak. Not just for track use, our intercooler also shines on a street car where the OEM intercooler falls very short from the factory. The silicone hoses reduce any risk of tearing and smooths the air flow, and 100% eliminate 1950s-60s “Orins” potential boost leaks. Whether you are looking for street or track use, our Long-Neck Intercooler will allow you to drive your 930 passionately and enjoy the increased reliability, power, and sound.

To get the most performance out of your early 911 Turbo, you really need to replace your restrictive factory headers, and Fabspeed’s 911 Turbo 930 Sport Headers and Heat Exchangers are a great way to increase flow, provide quicker turbo spool, and maximize power.

These headers are optimized for maximum flow, and constructed from 14-16 gauge, C.N.C. mandrel bent T304 stainless steel with high velocity 3-in-1 pyramidal investment cast merge collectors for improved exhaust scavenging. This system will improve power delivery by 1200 RPM compared to the restrictive OEM heat exchangers. It is a direct replacement for the OEM heat exchangers and will bolt to the stock turbo OR the K27 turbocharger. It is a simple, DIY bolt-on installation with no cutting or welding required fitting all 911 Turbo 930 vehicles (1976-1989) including the factory 930 Slantnose "Flachbau", which requires the Slantnose Oil Line Kit that will be provided when purchasing the Slantnose SOS version.

When it comes the rear of the vehicle, Fabspeed’s 911 Turbo 930 Maxflo Performance Exhaust System provides a great sports car sound, increased power, and significant reduction in turbo lag.

Constructed with 3.0" (76mm) 14-16 gauge T304L C.N.C. mandrel bent stainless steel tubing for maximum performance and durability, the Maxflo Performance Exhaust System adds 15 WHP for improved throttle response as well as an improved sports car sound with a much deeper, more aggressive exhaust note.

Options include single (above) or dual outlet configuration (below), and Deluxe Oval (above) or Quad Style Tips (below). This is a simple bolt-on installation to the stock or K27 Turbo that fits all Porsche 911 Turbo 930 vehicles (1976-1989).

If you want a more aggressive sound, we also offer our Porsche 911 Turbo 930 Supercup Race Exhaust System. This is a very aggressive resonated muffler-bypass exhaust that bolts directly to the stock turbo or upgraded K27 turbo and provides a dramatic increase in power throughout the RPM range. Like the Maxflo, it is constructed from complete 14-16 gauge T304 stainless steel 3.0”/76.5mm C.N.C. mandrel bent tubing for maximum performance and durability, and comes with our Oval (pictured below) or Quad Tip (pictured above on Maxflo) options.

A low cost, high reward bolt-on upgrade that every 930 owner should make if they’re looking for max power is replacing the OEM muffler with Fabspeed’s 930 Muffler Bypass Zork Tube. Fabspeed’s Zork Tube is based off the Porsche factory 934 IMSA racecar design, resulting in a huge reduction in turbo lag for maximum possible power and sports car sound. Constructed with 3.0" 14-16 gauge T304 mandrel bent stainless steel, Fabspeed’s Zork Tube adds +46 WHP and +65 ft/lbs. of TQ – huge numbers for a simple upgrade that bolts on in less than an hour!

Whether you are going for street or track use, we are sure to have a package that fits what you and your vehicle. Don’t hesitate to call, email, or comment below with any questions!

Very nice, Phillip. Just to make sure that people are aware (and most are) that when using a long neck IC the stock "secondary" manifold (boost recirculation housing/manifold) must be removed and a suitable boost pressure relief valve would need to be installed (for the years that it's applicable, that is). I don't think that was mentioned in the ad....or I missed it. You guys at der Fab do good stuff!

HI Mark and everyone

I hope everyone is happy healthy, well and enjoying their 930 TURBOS

The Fabspeed Motorsport engineering team and I designed all the Porsche 911 Turbo 930 parts over 15 years ago. We incorporated many updates and refinements to years of Porsche 930 knowledge that we gained over all that time and also I called ANDIAL spoke to Dieter, Powertech Mike Daino Northern New Jersey, Dwain Dement Vision Motorsports and many other professionals and Porsche Turbo experts as we designed and refined our systems.

The headers we designed are one of the very best systems backpurged stainless steel and investment cast 930 collector to the turbo for maximum strength and maximum flow. It will never ever crack or break.

On the rear exhaust sides we have sport cats from HJS germany for emissions complaince and great power, catbypass pipes for the stock OEM rear Porsche muffler.

then very sports 3.0" 76mm exhaust systems in various sound and sporty levels. From all race competition derived " IMSA 934 ZORK tube" a muffler bypass pipes that professional camel GT Porsche 934/934.5 actual race cars used in the glory days.

Less ROWDY systems are Supercup systems and maxflo dual exhaust systems in both single and dual outlet styles. Tips options are 4" oval to dual qual old school 930 style.

Check out the Videos online at Fabspeed.

For the 930 Intercooler design I adapted the best from RUF, Kokeln and the Porsche C2 Turbo systems. WE designed aluminum heat ducting shielding so the intercoolers had gaskets to the whale tail decklid and at the intercooler with rubber weather strips. THAT way all the air goes through the intercooler not around it like der factory and like RUF. I added all the ports for the guages and boost pieces underneath and also added a meth port for racers. I designed a 4 ply silicone left side hose to elimiante BEER Steins and make a clean Long Neck solution. I also eliminated any and all Boost O ring pipes so you get solid silicone 4 ply hoses from the Turbo K27 or DLZ to the intercooler and from the rear of the intercooler to the throttle body. NO potential leaks and no 1950s O rings.

Ill post some pictures of my 1987 930 guards red after I gas her up. If anyone wants to cruise to Fabspeed and test out my 930 and take a tour just stop by.

I have their super cup exhaust on my 930 and recently added their headers. Quality and performance is amazing. Next year, I am planning to purchase an intercooler from them as well.

funny thing my wife and 23 year old hate my 930.
it pops crackles farts and no Apple Car Play and no air-bags not safe. No power steering A/C works as I fixed it. Shes a keeper.

Thanks Joe, I just ordered a complete Fabspeed System for my 1987 Factory Slantnose, i read good reviews about it, and wonder how ti will turn out by going all black in color.
- Headers and muffler (Maxflo) in Ceramic Glacier Black
- Tips on Powder Gloss Black
- Intercooler in arctic Black for Heat dispersion.

I think it will look very good that way, will see.

Phillip has been very helpful!

thanks

Marco

Hi Joe. Appreciate the offer. Looking forward to purchasing a k27 and an intercooler from you next year. I love my slantnose and hopefully will pass it down to my 9 year old. He loves the car and I let him do all the shifts last time I took it for a ride which made him feel so amazing.
I own a few toys including a Carrera GT but this little monster is the favorite of my household.
