Thanks FSAEracer03.
Sameer, your car looks great too. When I made the decision to hack-up up a perfectly good 930, it was only because I wanted a 964 3.8 RSR replica. I ordered a back issue of Excellence with a collectors 1993 3.8 RSR to get it right visually.
ZLP, the RS Door panels and carpet kit all came from www.appbiz.com. He also sells on E-bay and Performance Products has his stuff. The carpet is the domestic black kit. Pretty easy install and it turned out better then I expected with the black and tan.
The hardest part of the interior change was ripping out a perfect tan interior. I couldn't bring myself to do it so I poured a large cocktail and let a couple friends get busy while I paced behind the car. The net of this is that even after adding a 55lb rollbar, I lost another 100lbs.
With my current lbs/hp ratio and gearing I'm quicker then 996tt's. In this 19mb video 930 vs 996tt Here I'm chasing a mildly track prepped 996tt. We were near 160mph through the right hander at the end of the front straight.
