Interesting. Built back in the 80s or more recently?

The factory began this car in December 1988 and finished in May 1991.

Interesting that the wheels are 17s and deliver with car, especially in 88. Would love a few sets for my Slantnoses.

The car wasn't delivered until 1991.

Thank you for posting the pictures...... Truly amazing. Do you know where I could get the steering wheel with the crest? I have a 1988 Slantnose Cabriolet.

PS. Is the odometer correct????

The odometer is correct. As to the steering wheel, that is what came with the car and I do not know who made it.

Did you recently buy this car from the original owner? I remember reading an article about it, I might still have it.

Lots of amazing little details on Robert's cars.. you can stare at them for hours as you continue to discover things not seen on others. How bout the leather covered gauge faces, the covers that hide the stereo components in the console, and the fact that every screw in the interior is leather covered! All factory!
Love it!

Is the car an 88 or 89 model year?

Or maybe the leather covered magnesium adjustable turbo boost control.

Or the "Time" and "Monay" spent on that music system?
