Heat exchanger material?

Are the stock heat exchangers on an 1987 930 aluminum or a thin stainless steel?

I wouldn't bet my life on it but I'm pretty certain they aren't alum.
I've got a brand new set in a box and they are steel. Don't know if they are stainless or not...
