Default 930 without LSD ?

Hi Guys ,
Quick question ; has anyone ever seen a 930 without a limited slip diff ? Just saw the first one I've ever seen . How on earth did that car get ordered that way ?!! Correct me if I'm wrong . It was never standard and would be a line item charge on the window sticker .
Thanks

^ Thanks - I have seen it on every 930 window sticker I've seen . I guess someone wanted to save the $1200 or whatever it was at the time .

There are a lot of 930's without LSD (option 220). In fact it is getting harder to find the ones with LSD.

Really....I never woulda thunk. That means my spare 930 LSD transaxle must be worth bucks $$. On sale now for a mere $10K :-)

Mark when I was in the hunt I ran into some really nice cars, unfortunately I decided to pass on many of them due to the lack of LSD. Incidentally I've recently looked at several early 930's (76-77) and most did not have the option.

It was always an option on 930s, RoW and U.S.

The vast majority of 930s were sold without LSD. If I were guessing I would say fewer than 20-25% had an LSD from the factory.

I've owned 6 - two of the six had factory limited slips.
