Default 930 History search - Garnet 1986 with twin-plug EFI

Taking a long shot, but looking for any previous history or ownership of my Garnet Red 1986 930 coupe before 2015. It lived in California until about 2010, then went to New York (or New Jersey) until 2015. Interior is Champagne with Chocolate trim leather.

Somewhere along the way it received twinplug heads with Electromotive DIS ignition, and Motec M48 injection too. Currently has a stock 3DLZ turbo and intercooler, but upgrade parts may have been fitted once.

For a time it was fitted with 18” turbo twist wheels, but it’s now returned to the proper 16” Fuchs.

Looking for any prior owners, stories, and any paper trail for these mods. Thanks.

I'm sure it was modded pretty good at one time, nobody does a twin plug electromotive ignition for a stockish engine.I seem to remember seeing that car around 2012 at one of the local porsche meets.
Good luck with your search

Thanks for the lead. Do you remember if it was a PCA event? If it was, which region sponsored it? If not PCA, do you remember what the show was called?

Thanks!

Not trying to steal Chris's thunder but if this car spent any time on Long Island or any of NY Metro events Bill Rudtner might know about it.
