Did the my 87 -89 930s come from the factory with wheel locks?

Thanks, Speedster

Pretty sure they were an option. Have them on my '88 but am at work and don't have the window sticker handy.

I don't remember paying extra for them on my 86 944. I ordered it with Fuchs (the order sheet referred to them as "911 wheels"). As far as I can remember from August 1985 the locks were included. It was a tourist delivery but I doubt that made any difference. My 87 930 has the same locks and keys.

French brochure is cool, thanks for sharing that.

The reason I have asked this question is I am on the hunt for a 87-89 930S, Every car I have looked at doesn't have wheel locks. I know they are a pain but I am trying to figure out if they have been removed or never came with them.

Thanks, Speedster

I work for Porsche/Audi for sometime as well and I'm still gonna to have to disagree with the above statement.

They may have been ordered for the car, or put on at the dealer after the car arrived, or specified as an option on a customer order. However, they did not come with the cars as standard equipment.

Of course you can always check the CoA.

Well damn.. I guess you're right!
Saw them on a lot of the 944's of the era, and we sold a lot of sets over the counter as well.. but didn't remember them on the cars as standard.

Are you still holding that blue 964 Turbo? Nice one!

Thx
