Default value and thoughts on 930!

I saw this car for sale. What would you guys value it at? I hate the wheels!

http://www.enthusiastmotorcars.com/1..._10409001.veh#

it has after market turbo, and they did a g50 tranny swap.
The car was also just repainted.
They don't have any records of the car but claim it had a rebuild 30k miles ago.

would love your thoughts on what you think it is worth.

If you ask me I'd say that car had some more go fast bits on before.
What turbo is it?
Why the big boost gauge?
Why the a/f ratio gauge?
The rear wiper is gone. and the AC is gone as well. Did it have a bigger intercooler on it before?
Aftermarket air cleaner.
Who knows.... it could even have 964 or SC cams.

Yeah whoever owned it really wanted to make it go fast. I really I'm not sure about any of those questions i will ask the seller. I asked about the turbo he says he's not sure he needs to check his notes. But he recalls it being a later porsche K.

Looks naked without the stone guards on 1/4. Also looks like the felt in sunroof is missing and it could be the pictures but it looks like window frame moldings were painted a gloss black. Looks like it's all there though. Depends what your looking for and how handy you are. If you can do a lot of the work yourself it could be a fun car. If you can't do much and have to bring it to a shop, your better off taking the money you'd spend at shop and buying a lower mileage less tinkered with example. I'd be sure to get compression and leak down numbers on an engine with that type of mileage and those bolt ons

Any 930 owner needs to be handy working on these cars, at least for the small stuff. They're 30 + yrs old now and constantly need something fixed, you'll go broke if you have to take it in for every little thing. One should carry spare parts such as relays, fuses etc at all times and know how to replace. A rebuild done 30k miles ago is ancient history. These cars all need rebuilds, not if but when, budget 20k at least. That's the reality of owning a 930, uber cool cars no doubt, but need tlc.
The car in question has surely been heavily modded and returned to near stock to capitalize on the aircooled craze, 55k max tread carefully.

Leak down and comp test almost goes without saying. Too bad they won't tell you what going on at the bottom end. Only thing that does that is oil samples taken at the last scheduled change.
