Dare i say its growing on me..its not so grotesque..and for under $25,000 i have the option of driving it for a bit and selling it and getting my money back- or spending another $3,000-$5000 making it a nice correct example..we shall see...i want to get some engine stuff done first, oil change full check up and updating of little things that i'm sure it needs as its sat for a while.

The crazy thing is today i drove my 997.1 S after taking this one to my mechanic to do some stuff to it and for some reason i wasn't as happy driving the 997 as i was driving this one lol..

Relatively light-weight, decidedly non-original early 911 with a 3.0-liter? I smell a track car…!

Terek, lots of guys buy up cars like this and have zero guilt making them into dedicated track weapons. You get the lighter tub, the reliable engine, the good aero, ....and you are not the guy that cut it up.

Terek is a consumer not a racer with this car I believe, I have just a few post also but this is my thought, no reason he would be trying to put back original if he was planning a hack job

Correct, i plan on either taking it back to original, lowering & adding exhaust, once i figure out what that will all cost i'll either do it or maybe i'll just continue driving it for a month or 2 like this then selling it and buying one thats in perfect condition and sorted out already.

Good luck!

settle down, you are just a rookie yourself. There is no need to be insulting people, you will fall out of favor quickly here with posts like that.
