Did you call Steve Weiner at Rennsport Systems? He's far and away the most knowledgeable Rennlister. Explain to him what you want to do with the car and he can put a "kit" or a plan together for you. It will be a few bucks more here and there, but in my early days his advice was priceless. He'll tell you to look at the Elephant site, but then he will buy them from Chuck or from the respective manufacturers, I'm thinking street car and you may be thinking track car. If you are going to drive this car in anger then ya, you need Steve.
Also Rebel will sell you individual components like nobody else. I've purchased individual coilover conversion parts, individual steering components when others wanted to sell their entire kit. He'll sell you a single seal if that's what you need.

All I know is I cant wait to start building my suspension up with ER parts. Little things, like their SUPER user friendly website, use of diagrams, references explaining basically everything you need to know... Those are the aspects that grab my interest, initially. Not to mention seeing those gorgeous components..

All I know is I cant wait to start building my suspension up with ER parts. Little things, like their SUPER user friendly website, use of diagrams, references explaining basically everything you need to know... Those are the aspects that grab my interest, initially. Not to mention seeing those gorgeous components..
The only thing keeping me from buying some of their more advanced setups is that I haven't a clue how it even works or what makes it better than the original.

Hmmm... their website seems lacking to me. It shows all their fancy parts, but no explanation of the part, what factory part it replaces, or how it works with the car.

Yeah but I get his point. Most of us are a long way from being able to drive our cars like Derrick Bell. I know I don't come close to maxing out my stock suspension.
Wrestling with this now myself, but I think rather than spend an extra few hundred dollars on new torsions for a street-driven Targa, I'm just going to refresh the bushings and buy new shocks.
I have to admit though, there is also the satisfaction of upgrading everything and knowing I'm driving a car with even more potential than stock, even if I may never take advantage of it. Thus the temptation.

I hope you were kidding when you posted that. I'll take a car with body roll I can trust long before I will take a stiff car that wants to slide without warning. The key is balance. You want a car that is still drivable.....
