All- current 996TT owner and long ago 964 owner. I am hoping a kind soul can help me resolve my bizarre unremitting desire for an 80s 911. I keep talking myself out of it only to find myself perusing the classifieds. Unfortunately, Cincinnati does not have an abundance of old 911s around....

So I was hoping that someone would take me on a brief test drive to see if the car is as amazing as it exists in my mind.. Would be most appreciated and would love to grab a beer for more car talk, advice etc.

Try your local chapter of PCA, usually monthly meetings and usually guys with '80's air-cooled, take it from there

That is a great idea. I've been trying to get to their ,edgings for months but they tend to be too early for me to make it from work.
