Hi-Tec is also a good option. Just hope the seller name is not Wayne Kreiger or something similar. Guy has a bunch of alias and now is doing business somewhere up there. Can't keep track of all his different names or businesses but he use to run a place called Born 2 B Fast in San Fancisco. He has an eBay account that sells parts and motors. Google it if your seller is named Wayne.

Sure, you can. But there are a couple of homebuilts that still run with the six-figure cars. And the guy who has my old '75, about 12 years after he upgraded it into Spec 911 and 10-15 events a year, also hangs around.

I'm talking about making a living, not really which cars or drivers are competitive. A thundehill win is a great way to sell your services.

Steve works on my P cars. He's a unique individual, very professional, dedicated, and an accomplished mechanic. Some of what you see on his site are related to his son who races SC's very successfully. He's been really busy since Mike Rose at 9Elf closed. Give him a call. I've heard of another guy in Healdsburg but don't have any info on him.

Just want to put a word in for Steve De Jung after my first experience ... great guy, excellent mechanic and good communication. Highly recommended. It’s really nice when a mechanic takes the time to explain to you what needs to be done and why and gives you options on just how much you need to spend at one time to bring your car up to snuff.

Default Sonoma mechanic

Steve De Jung may be a fine mechanic but slow, independent and inconsiderate to a major fault. If you tolerate unbecoming vendors overpriced and treating you like s^^^ then he is for you. Personally I would rather do it myself or find anyone else.

Robot - I see you just joined this site and your profile doesn’t say what type of Porsche you have. Anyway, your remarks regarding DeJung could be inhanced by some facts. Somehow, I think you’re just a jealous bot.
