My RSR build
#122
The first of 3 cars is ready to go to the paint shop. All the metal work is complete with hand fabricated steel front bumpers and rears, handmade aluminum ducktail, aluminum hood with cutout for center fill fuel tank and exterior oil filler with custom cap. the first car is gulf blue with orange graphics and wheels. The second car is not far behind. Lots of cool stuff going on these 3 builds.

I did 3 at the same time for no other reason than I have the time and talent available. I plan on keeping one and selling 2 or selling 3 and make another one. No plans really, I'll just build the 3 and see if there is any interest. If not I have grown sons that would love to have one. I'm not building them for clients and probably never would. I'm just building them how I want!

What paint shop do you use down there if you don't mind me asking? I am looking for a good one, my normal guy retired after 40 years painting. I am in the OC, but Escondido is close enough.

#2 is now ready for one more light blast and epoxy primer. It then goes to speedworks in Santee for paint. Brad had been doing all mt Ferrari Dinos for years so this will be a change of pace. #3 is very close to having all the metal work also.

If you are into wild 70's colors then consider Talbot yellow a color offered on 70's 911's. My 78 SC has this as it's original color and I get many positive comments. I've only seen one other so it's a relatively rare shade.
