My RSR build

Amazing build. I've been following and pardon the naivety here, but can you explain what the tan colored material is that is being installed here? My best take is that it's a sound deadening layer with the gray carpet (is that the carpet?) over the top of it. However, I've not seen that type of sound deadening material before which is what sparked my curiosity thinking maybe it's a thatched interior and the gray material is actually the sound deadening material.

The Gulf Livery car is done and I've put a few miles on it. You can see it at RSRrebel.com. or @omgjon1 Instagram. The Hippie car is basically done and headed to Rothsport Racing next week to meet up with it's motor. The third one which is silver with Martini Livery is at the paintshop.

Loved the Smoking Tire review....I think you made a convert. Love these cars, finding someone to do a build like this is on my all-time wish list.
