im not a fan of the 964 body style at all. but im sure you will find someone that would. the 3.6 lite twin plug is a strong engine. be prepared for the "step back"

People that haven't been around Porsche's for long don't realize that for many years the 964 was considered by many to be the unloved ugly duckling. Over the past few years they have become in demand - probably boosted by Singer and the 'tuner' crowd (try to find unmolested, clean stock examples). I have personally always liked the 964 and would like to add one to my garage but they have gotten quite expensive and harder to find (C2 manuals coupe).

agreed, the 964 has a dusting of Pontiac (circa Aztec). not sure why it didn't grow on my eye, but the G series car has a classic cool that just isn't there with the 964 or 993. yet.
