Purchase help!! 2013 911 or 2017 718
Debated between the new 2017 718 Cayman S, or the 2013 Carerra 4. (These are with in my budget of 110k Canadian) with 20 thousand kms on it or another carerra S (not 4) for same price but with 50 thousand kms (I hear ppl say cars typically last 100 to 150 thousand kms. So do about buying the 50 thousand one..)
FIRST, I DO NOT MIND how the downsized Cayman sounds. I enjoy the performance boost quite a bit actually and I really like mid engine cars. BUT Ofc, I do love the 911 higher displacement and the 6cyl sound is gorgeous. I'm just saying I won't mind Cayman's sound regardless, it honestly doesn't sound that bad and still a great car. Can't even feel turbo lag. But I'm really debated in which I prefer more T.T
SECOND. I HAVE WINTERS, LIKE A LOT of them. But also keep in mind it's not like I'll drive like a maniac during winter and I'll have winter tires. this WILL be my main car. Apparently the Mid engine Cayman can do find in winter due to its well mid engine balance and the carerra will be 4wd anyways unless I buy the RWD one which there is a chance
THIRD. In terms of design. I like the Cayman more. I just like the sides more and I also dislike the 911's back. But not game breaking by anymeans.
And obviously I also would like to have 911 logo rather than a 718 ya feel? Since they are Porsche's iconic car. But 2013 and 2017 has a 4 year gap..I know the new car would depreciate more but I can enjoy driving a brand new car for a year or two
AND THEREFORE I AM ABSOLUTELY CONFUSED AND DONT MNOW WHAT I WANT. Please give me some constructive opinion!!!! I need for figure this out soon before they start my Cayman order In the factory!

I recommend the C4S for you. Im retired in Central FL, and spend the hot months in Chicagoland. I had a 981 CS with manual, PSE and good options. It was great except for the cramped cabin space and no sunroof. Then I tried a loaded Macan Turbo and loved it. Well it did need a Sport Exhaust and the PDK wasn't quite as much fun for everyday driving. But we only have a 2 car garage and I wanted a Porsche sport car again, especially for PCA and track events. So I traded for this loaded 2015 CPO 991 C2S with 3000 miles. I love it. Everything I could want in a sports car and I also use it to get groceries. Next house in FL will have a 3 car garage, so I can get a nice used Macan Turbo and the wife can drive her boring RX350..
