Default 2.8 RSR vs. 930 flares?

What is the difference, and by how much?

2.8 RSR flares have a different rear section (shape) to match the early-style rear bumpers.

930 flares are made to match the 74-89 style rear bumper and valance.

They are both 11" flares.

I think the shape of the lip itself might be slightly different. I can't be sure, though, since my rear flares are fiberglass reproductions, and may not be 100% accurate.

Black one is RSR, the other is a 930.

And so the follow-on question is....

How much effort, parts, cost would be required to swap out the '***-end' of a 930 to make it look like Jack's RSR?

...as well, would the RSR duck-tail provide enough room/air for the intercooler?
