Smile Buying key Parts for 1989 Speedster

Hi all,

I am trying to buy key spare parts for my 1989 narrow body Speedster. As a start, would include the following:
1. Windshield Frame & Windshield
2. Convertible Top & Sunvisors
3. Speedster Doors & Door Glasses
4. Rear Clam Shell & Hardware
5. Brackets & Rubber weather stripping

- Any advice on where I can source these?
- also, any suggestions on hard to get parts from anyone who has experience restoring one of these cars would be appreciated.

Cheers!

As you know, these cars are now VERY collectible and bringing very high prices. Parts are equally rare and are priced commensurate with their value on the used market.

I'd suggest talking to a dealer to see whats still available before wading into the used market (which are likely to be non-existent).

I'm a regular poster on PP and Australian forums.

If anyone is looking for a complete 3.2 -964 speedster factory assembly - screen , trim, seals, visors , mirrors , I have some available.

These are are factory new 2 are in factory boxes and I understand NLA.

regards michel

Those will be hard to come by. They would allow one to convert a non-speedster to a speedster essentially, right?
