Electrical gremlin???
I noticed the other day that I can operate my electrical windows sometimes when the key is out of the ignition. Must be an electrical short --anyone have the same problem
On an unrelated topic, I'm replacing my Bridgestone 71's after 16,000 miles of pure street driving. The odd thing is that the fronts only have a max of 5,000 miles left on them. I thought tire wear was approx 2x on the rear compared to the front and was surprised that the fronts had worn so quickly. Does this sound about right for the Bridgestone wear rate?

I also have an '87, and yes the windows continued to be powered for a short time after the car is shut off. I believe that they also stop working after a door is opened, regardless of the time after the key is turned off.
I don't think that you have a problem, but Porsche designed it this way. Start to worry if they start going up and down by themselves, like the spoilers on some 964's.
