I just received my paper gasket for the transmission fork cover and it came with a few minor bends. It was shipped in a box with the Swepco (bad idea) so it was not properly protected. Should I be concerned that this will leak?

I would only be concerned if it was ripped. As long as you can get the gasket to sit on the part correctly you should be ok.

They were very minor. I went ahead and sprayed it with a little copper permatex and hit has held for a couple days now.

Real old school is straight silicone sealant. Enough blue stuff will seal anything.

Wow, cutting gaskets. I still have gasket paper in my tool box!!! That is old school and a real PIA!
