Does anybody have a pic of a ducktail on a Targa?
 

Like the ducktail as the whale/turbo tails are too big for my tastes. Have never seen a ducktail on a Targ. Anyone have any pics they can post so I can get a sense of what they look like?

Yes, I know that this is period incorrect but I really like how the ducktail looks!

Google: "74 Carrera Targa" and you'll see plenty of pics. :)

Thanks for the "74" advice. i was Googling "89 Carrera Targa" and only getting whaletails. using 74 Even found a white one like mine, albeit with the chrome Targa bar instead of the black one on my 89.

This is my Cabrio, an even odder place for a ducktail, but man does it work. Visually it is a perfect fit.

Amber, do you have a pic with top down?

I haven't put the top down in several years. Its a manual top that works great and has always been the cleanest part of the car so I haven't wanted to screw it up.

......actually, let me switch devices. I may have some topless pictures of her along the coast last spring. LOL. I know we had the window unzipped, may have also had the top down.

Nope, nothing with the top down. Sorry.

I gotta say, with the back window down and the top up, the engine sound is so unbelievably intoxicating I could see going windowless all the time.
