Nardi Wheel vs Momo
The Momo Prototipo seems to be the most popular choice around here, but what about thoughts on the Nardi Classic? Any reason not to go that route? Anyone who does have one able to share a picture installed?

I have Momo Prototipo in my RSR tribute and got the same one for the '81 SC-RS project... but I am soooo tempted to go with a Mod 7 instead... that extra placement closer to me looks like a great idea... but, like Jack, the yellow has to go...
RSR
RS (work in progress...)
Old steering wheel that the car came with
New steering wheel I was planning to use
Jack's car with Mod7 painted yellow stripe and letters...
Also trying to find an Abarth wheel in 370mm... would be an nice option in my 912... or just to keep around for the next project

Momo Mod.07 on my ex-993.
I didn't like the yellow stripe either, some red vinyl tape took care of that. Also painted the yellow MOMO script red to match.
The .07 is particularly good if you want the wheel to be closer to you. They are offered with either leather or suede rims. I had a suede one in another Porsche - the leather one holds up better and I preferred its "feel". The suede one had a greasy feel on really hot days but was somewhat grippier and would be better for track use, if that's your thing.

The Nardi Classic is a great choice, I have a few that I periodically swap into my 73 as a change from the MoMo and/or the stock wheel. The Nardi's I have are 365mm diameter, which is dead nuts perfect to me. The Nardi's are a bit more refined than the MoMo's in my opinion; the stitching is complex compared to the Momo and the finger indents on the back are more "squarish." Also, Nardi spokes are smoother (I think they are sanded more) prior to being anodized, the MoMo's are a tad rougher. Both are great wheels though, and you cant go wrong.
Regarding the Nardi wheel in post #10, keep in mind that is a new Nardi wheel. I like the look of the vintage wheels and i use mine without the black trim ring and big hub like above. I'd better find a pic before I get slammed around here....

Have you checked out the Momo Retro which is close to the Nardi?
I have most of the Momo's on the website including the Mod 07 & Prototipo, I'm also a Nardi dealer I just don't have them listed.

I offer free shipping on all Momo steering wheels in the lower US and use the RENNLIST 10% code out on check out and I believe I'm one of the cheapest in the US.
