Default FYI- Beware of GBox false claims -$$$ouch!

if you need tranny work, stay away from Gbox in Colorado.
They are happy to play race shop, and take $ 7700.00 for a rebuild
sans removal and install- but do not stand behind their work.
Read below if you want to know why:

Car is a 1975 911S with 3.6L M64, OEM 915 trans, many upgrades designed and built by Rennsport Systems and Rothsport in 2008.
My 915 trans broke third gear teeth after succesful 35 + races and 5 years
with a Jeff Gamroth built tranny at Hastings June 2012.

The Gbox rebuild lasted only a few months, 1 sprint and 1 enduro.
It leaked like a sieve when i got it from them and they refused to
deal with it claiming [ the mag case is soft and this is SOP - which is true but they had been made aware it had seepage and could fix it].

Upon contacting them about the break, their response was
"we do not warranty race cars"

What a racket. Pretend to be worthy of a race shop, charge race shop prices and don't stand behind the work "because it is a race car"
Accountability like the weather forecasters, eh?

Let's put them back in the lawn mower business where they will be harmless.
