88 3.2 with stock brake + cooling kit.
I tried Pagid and ran into so much problems even with proper bedding. Uneven pad deposit on rotors after 10 minutes of track usage. Switched to PFC 97 with the same brake setup, no more problems and very very good braking. I did 20+ track days with the PFC 97.
I'm installing a complete 930 brake setup with PFC 08. Can't wait to try it.

Raybestos last longer than Pagid... plus, they do not eat the rotor like a Pagid. I went through 2 sets of P-orange on the rears and still had useable Raybestos on the front. 1980 911SC with 964, 3.6 liter.
Raybestos come in different flavors.

I also use PFC 97 for my 1981 SC on the front and stock pads on the rear. Frozen Rotors. Used this setup at Road America, Blackhawk and Gingerman for many years with great performance.

Currently Pagid RS19 and RS14 with 996TT brakes ... going with PFC08's and Fabcar dual master with bias adjuster and slotted rotors this season !

Cheers !

Hawk HT-10s on my basically stock (except suspension) '87 Targa. Used to use Pagid Orange, but after I got a bit faster I had lots of issues with uneven pad deposits. I loved the initial grip of the Pagids; the Hawk's require a lot more pedal travel to get the same bite, and are harder to modulate (for me). Got some bigger calipers to swap onto the car later this year; not sure if I will go with HT-10s again or switch to their DSC compounds.

I'm currently using PFC 08's on my 89 with a 3.6 and 996TT brakes and i can't wait for them to wear out so i can go with Raybestos pads ... might even chuck them beforehand, they suck on my car !

Cheers

I used to run (DE's) Porterfield R4S pads....I had plenty of brakes (993 calipers, 309X32mm fronts), and never had any issues with them not holding up, even though the R4 was the recco pad for track.
